NumWords Privacy Policy
NumWord - Converter — Privacy Policy
Introduction
NumWord - Converter ("the App") converts numeric values to human-readable words and converts words to numbers. We respect your privacy and have designed this App to minimize data access. This privacy policy explains what data (if any) the App collects and how it is used.
Data Collection
No personal data collected. The App performs all conversions locally on the user's device. It does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information (PII) to any server.
Specifics:
- The App does not request account access, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or other sensitive permissions.
- Text and numbers entered into the App remain on the device and are not uploaded anywhere by the App.
Permissions
The App requests only the permissions that are strictly necessary for local functionality (for example, clipboard access if you copy results). You will be explicitly asked if such permissions are necessary. If you deny a permission, that App feature that depends on it may not work.
Third-party Services
The App does not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers. No external libraries are used that collect or send user data.
Local Storage
Any settings (for example, "privacy policy accepted" flag) are stored locally in the Android SharedPreferences area for this app on your device. These are not synced or backed up externally by the app.
Data Security
Because the App does not transmit data, there is no transmission risk. Standard Android app sandboxing applies — only your device can access the stored data.
Children
The App is suitable for all ages. Because no personal data is collected, we do not intentionally gather information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to the App. If the policy is materially changed, we will show an in-app notice or require re-acceptance of an updated policy.
